Jayden Wolfe

This piece shows two bears who are eating ice cream. There is a boy and a girl sitting together in front of a sign. They’re both best friends who are have a good bond and are happy. A principal of design I used is proportion with the bears and the sign. I wanted to make this piece because I thought the bears were cute and more of a cartoon character image. I chose to write the quote because it was also cute. I liked doing this project because of the fact that it was a more child based and fun type of thing and I prefer to no try and make art look as realistic.

Open choice project- Kolesa For this piece, i did a collage of things that remind me of Pennsylvania. I chose to do this for my project because it’s a lot of things put together to remind me of the place I grew up in and loved and all of my family. Each piece of it has a meaning to me. I do however wish I would’ve added more into my final and planned it out so that the space was more full. The water color background is something I really enjoy doing now because I like the way that it ends up looking especially with sharpie over top.

Human figure project- Kolesa pd 6 Desbribe- This piece shows a teenage girl in dance class. She’s in the middle of a move with her one hand on the bar and other up and pointed towards the ceiling. She has a somewhat smile but somewhat serious look on her face. Story- I chose to do the dancer because it expresses free movement and you can express yourself in the same way in dancing as in drawing. Dance is a way of expressing yourself and letting feelings out and coping for some people just like drawing and many other activities and sports are. Analyze- In this project, I used movement with the dancer up on her toes and her arms spread apart. I used contrast in color with the yellow background and purple dance letters. I also used a variety of colors and different shades of the colors with the light blue and dark blue and a darker tan and a lighter tan. I put the girl on the right side of the page so then I could put her left arm up and the dance sign to balance it all out and not be
